Avionics Junior Supervisor – Base Maintenance

About the role

The Avionics Junior Supervisor will support the Senior Supervisor in delivering high‑quality base maintenance for Typhoon aircraft and components. This position combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership in a fast‑paced, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed maintenance, inspection and diagnostic activities on Typhoon aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with approved technical data.
• Supervise and coordinate a team of technicians, monitoring progress, escalating issues and ensuring delivery targets are met.
• Maintain personal and team logbooks, sign off on training records, and manage Part‑145 authorisations and competency approvals.
• Resolve faults, manage configuration changes, and raise work cards for any newly discovered issues.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and formal assessments to less‑experienced team members.
• Ensure all work follows regulatory requirements and organisational procedures.

Required profile

• Experienced avionic technician with a solid understanding of the Typhoon approved data set.
• Proven ability to analyse and diagnose equipment faults and follow diagnostic procedures.
• Strong supervisory skills, capable of leading a diverse team in a dynamic operational setting.
• Flexible, proactive attitude with the ability to take direction and make informed decisions.
