Avionics Junior Supervisor – Base Maintenance

About the role

The Avionics Junior Supervisor will support the Senior Supervisor in delivering high‑quality base maintenance for Typhoon aircraft and components. This role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed maintenance, inspection and fault rectification on Typhoon aircraft and components, following approved technical data.
• Supervise and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Part 145 regulations and organisational procedures.
• Maintain personal and team logbooks, sign off on training and competency records, and manage authorisation tasks.
• Lead a team, provide guidance to less‑experienced members, and develop staff through formal assessments.
• Evaluate faults, raise ad‑hoc work cards, and coordinate configuration management.
• Report impacts on programme schedules and escalate issues as required.

Required profile

• Experienced avionic technician with solid knowledge of the Typhoon approved data set.
• Ability to analyse and diagnose equipment faults using established diagnostic procedures.
• Competent to supervise personnel and ensure work is performed to regulatory standards.
• Maintains current logbook entries and, if qualified, acts as a designated assessor.
