Barista – Luxury Hotel Coffee Service

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join the hospitality team at The Ned Doha, a luxury hotel located in the former Ministry of Interior building. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality coffee experiences while providing warm, personalized service to guests in an elegant setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and specialty beverages to the highest standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and workstations.
• Handle cash, POS systems, and monitor inventory levels.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages, blends, and brewing methods.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Barista in a luxury hotel, café, or high‑end restaurant.
• Friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with flexible schedules.
• Barista certification or specialty coffee training is an advantage.

Required skills

• Operation of espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and specialty blends.
• POS and cash handling proficiency.
