BI Specialist - Customer Experience

About the role

We are looking for a BI Specialist to help Qatar Airways improve its commercial and operational performance through data‑driven insights. You will work within the Customer Experience team, turning complex aviation data into reusable, high‑impact data products using GCP and Power BI.

Key responsibilities

• Enable data as a service by creating self‑service, reusable data products.
• Translate business needs, especially in Customer Experience, into GCP data product specifications.
• Act as a consultant to business units, guiding question formulation, experiment design, and data‑based problem solving.
• Champion best practices for data governance, self‑service BI, and data‑informed decision making.
• Analyze passenger and journey datasets to uncover trends and support strategic decisions.
• Support the CXBI Manager in delivering portfolio objectives.
• Develop insightful dashboards for the Customer Experience department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a similar role focused on Power BI, Alteryx and SQL.
• Background in data product development or product ownership within data analytics.
• Experience in airline customer experience and journey analysis.
• Proven ability to manage and analyse large data sets.
• Strong presentation skills for middle and senior management audiences.
• Systematic, logical problem‑solving approach.
