Bilingual Accountant – Finance & Reporting

About the role

The organization is seeking a bilingual Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support reporting activities. The role requires strong analytical abilities and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with local regulations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA or CMA is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in Qatar or GCC preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit, consulting, healthcare or social service sectors is a plus.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
