Book Binding and Leather Binding Operator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Book Binding and Leather Binding Operator to join our production team. You will work on manual binding projects, preparing designs in hardboard and leather, and ensuring high‑quality finished products for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review job orders and complete manual binding projects according to specifications.
• Prepare designs on hardboard and leather, creating dummies and custom designs as required.
• Utilize leather, adhesives and other materials efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Adjust and maintain binding machine parts, regularly inspecting for malfunctions.
• Clean printing presses and related peripherals to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience as a manual binding staff in a leading printing press.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in book binding, dummy making, and leather‑related binding work.
• Strong knowledge of measurement taking, folding, and various binding techniques.
• Experience with book binding, day‑journal making, box making, and leather binding.
• Creative mindset with a solid understanding of leather and adhesive materials.
