Power Gen Supervisor

About the role

The Power Gen Supervisor leads the maintenance, repair, installation and operation of electrical power generation equipment and associated systems. This role ensures compliance with the Performance Work Statement and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System while providing technical guidance and training to the team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and assign work for maintenance, inspection, testing, repair and storage of power generation and related electrical systems.
• Perform quality inspections before, during and after maintenance and complete required documentation.
• Interpret electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints to diagnose malfunctions and use test equipment, load banks and diagnostic tools.
• Prepare equipment for air, sea or road shipment in accordance with technical orders and regulations.
• Inspect hazardous materials, coordinate disposal, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide on‑the‑job training, document training and oversee OJT for subordinates.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; five years of military or civilian experience in power generation operation and maintenance.
• Ability to obtain CSC certification, facility credentials/authorization, and a valid driver’s license (home‑country and host‑nation).
• US citizenship required for facility credentials at this location.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull at least 50 lb and wear required PPE.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Experience operating test equipment, load banks and diagnostic tools.
• Operation of material handling equipment.
• Knowledge of high‑voltage power generation equipment (5 kV or higher) and military/ civilian maintenance systems.
