Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Paints & Coatings

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will steer the growth, profitability and market expansion of the Paints & Coatings business across Qatar and the GCC. Reporting to the Board, the CEO will set strategic direction, build key partnerships and ensure operational excellence across all functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategy, growth plans and market expansion initiatives.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and market share within the paints and coatings industry.
• Expand dealer, distributor, retail and project sales networks across Qatar and the GCC.
• Build strategic relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, architects, government entities and major corporate clients.
• Identify and secure large‑scale projects, strategic accounts and partnership opportunities.
• Oversee commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, retail, finance and operational functions.
• Ensure effective product positioning, pricing strategies and market competitiveness.
• Monitor business performance, budgets, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing management team aligned with company objectives.
• Report business performance, strategic initiatives and growth opportunities to the Board of Directors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience, including at least 7 years in a senior executive role.
• Proven experience within Paints & Coatings, Building Materials, Construction Chemicals or related industries.
• Strong understanding of decorative paints, industrial coatings, waterproofing products and construction‑related markets.
• Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market expansion and profitability.
• Experience managing sales, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial operations.
• Extensive network within the construction, contracting, consulting and building materials sectors.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
