Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Doha, Qatar

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join a fast‑growing organization in Doha. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the finance function and shape the company’s financial strategy across a multimillion‑dollar portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to drive overall financial management and strategic decision‑making.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, taxation, treasury, financing, insurance, and financial planning & analysis.
• Ensure robust corporate governance, compliance, and internal controls in line with local laws.
• Develop and implement sustainable financial strategies, funding structures, and capital allocation.
• Provide transparent management information to support performance management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering career progression.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from a Western university; professional qualification such as CFA, CMA, CA or ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of financial management experience, preferably with strong relationships with Qatari banks.
• Demonstrated experience in sectors such as construction, real estate, energy, logistics or family offices.
• Fluent English and deep knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Currently based in Doha or extensive experience in the market.
