Compromise Recovery Specialist

About the role

The Compromise Recovery Specialist will join Techpace’s security team in Doha to lead the response, containment, and recovery of cyber‑security incidents. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on restoring critical assets while applying Zero Trust principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead incident response activities, including containment, remediation, and recovery of compromised systems.
• Develop and execute detailed recovery plans for Tier 0 and Tier 1 assets, especially in ransomware or destructive attacks.
• Assess business and technical risks, propose mitigations, and update security policies.
• Document and improve compromise remediation procedures and best‑practice guides.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure restoration of on‑premise and cloud environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in system, network, storage and backup administration.
• 10+ years of hands‑on experience with containment, remediation and recovery of cyber incidents.
• Proven track record restoring business‑critical services after ransomware or destructive attacks.
• At least three relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., SC‑300, SC‑100, AZ‑300/301, AZ‑104).
