Construction Division Manager – Offshore Depressurization & Preservation

About the role

The Construction Division Manager will lead demolition and construction activities for the Barzan Restoration Project, overseeing damage assessment, debris clearance, and the replacement of structures and equipment on an offshore LNG site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage demolition and construction scopes from initial assessment through hand‑over to operations, ensuring schedule and milestone compliance.
• Oversee onsite contractors and subcontractors, verify daily reimbursable activities, and control headcount and equipment usage.
• Coordinate with EPC joint‑venture directors, project managers, and specialty subcontractors to align technical decisions and project execution.
• Drive safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance across a workforce of approximately 3,000 personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large‑scale oil & gas construction projects, including at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven track record in demolition, brownfield, and LNG plant construction with strong safety results.
• Experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, and multi‑cultural project teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and related systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Extensive knowledge of design standards, codes, and safety criteria for sour gas and LNG facilities.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities in construction execution.
