About the role
The Controller I acts as the strategic financial leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis, and control to support brand initiatives and maximize return on investment. This full‑time position is based at the Lusail site and reports to senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecast sales versus expenses, and analyse variances to improve profitability.
- Lead accounting teams, ensuring strong internal controls, accurate P&L reporting, and compliance with local SOPs and audit requirements.
- Provide financial insights to owners, executives, and the General Manager, supporting strategic decisions and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee tax compliance, audit processes, and the preparation of timely financial reports.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or a master’s degree with no experience required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, accounting or a related professional area.
