About the role
The Controller I acts as the strategic financial leader for the property, driving financial planning, analysis, and control to support the brand’s service strategy and maximize return on investment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial data, market trends and forecast sales versus expenses to create annual budget plans.
- Develop and monitor profit improvement initiatives, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business opportunities.
- Lead accounting teams, ensuring strong internal controls, accurate P&L reporting and compliance with SOPs and audit requirements.
- Manage tax compliance, regulatory reporting and oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes.
- Provide financial insights to owners, executive committee and general manager, attending stakeholder meetings and communicating results clearly.
Required profile
- 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (or Master’s degree with no experience required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and accounting or a related professional area.
