Delivery Unit Leader – Architecture, Engineering & Platform

About the role

Malomatia is seeking a senior leader to head its Delivery Unit for Architecture, Engineering & Platform. The role will drive the design, implementation and governance of hybrid‑cloud, on‑premises and AI infrastructure across complex client environments, ensuring scalability, security and operational sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern engineering strategy, delivery frameworks and platform architecture standards for the Data & AI practice.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of architecture, infrastructure, data platforms and AI deployment programmes, overseeing multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Establish best practices for hybrid cloud, sovereign platforms and emerging technologies such as Kubernetes, edge computing and AI platforms.
• Drive engineering innovation through DevSecOps, MLOps and infrastructure‑as‑code adoption, and productise reusable accelerators and reference architectures.
• Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, platform specialists and MLOps practitioners, managing resource planning and performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, data platform delivery or AI deployment.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role managing a Data/AI practice or similar technology unit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or related field; Master’s (MBA/MSc) strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑technology programmes in mission‑critical environments.

• Hybrid‑cloud and on‑premises infrastructure design (compute, storage, networking).
• Enterprise data platforms – Oracle, Informatica.
• Kubernetes, cloud‑native architectures, edge computing.
