Electrical Systems Engineer

About the role

Qureos Inc is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to lead the installation, maintenance, testing and upgrading of electrical metering equipment, including advanced smart‑metering solutions. The role ensures that all meter installations meet company standards, regulatory requirements and HSE policies while delivering reliable, accurate data.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency maintenance of all electrical meters and smart‑metering systems.
• Ensure installations comply with approved specifications, company standards, regulatory requirements and HSE policies.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot metering systems to maintain accurate and uninterrupted readings.
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams, contractors and service providers to optimise performance, reliability and data accuracy.
• Monitor and support meter communication systems to guarantee seamless data transmission.
• Supervise installation and maintenance activities, track progress, identify defects and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, performance dashboards and operational analyses on installation progress, meter performance and system reliability.
• Verify that all personnel hold valid permits, certifications, competency records and mandatory training.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical meter installation and maintenance, preferably with smart‑metering technologies.
• Strong knowledge of HSE policies and regulatory compliance for electrical systems.
• Ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage contractor relationships.
• Excellent analytical skills for reporting and performance monitoring.
