Electrician – Events & Production

About the role

We are seeking an experienced electrician to handle electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for events, exhibitions and production projects. The role involves setting up safe temporary power solutions and providing hands‑on support during live events and dismantling.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and maintain electrical systems, cabling, lighting and AV connections for temporary event setups.
• Conduct pre‑event inspections, prepare wiring layouts and ensure compliance with Qatar safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, carpentry teams and event crews.
• Supervise on‑site installation and dismantling, respond quickly to faults during live events.
• Maintain tools, equipment and inventory, and participate in safety drills and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Systems or Installation.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in events, exhibitions or temporary power projects.
• Familiarity with Qatar electrical regulations and event safety requirements.
• Physically fit, able to work on‑site under pressure and flexible to work weekends or extended hours.

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
