Facilities Supervisor

About the role

The Facilities Supervisor will be the primary on‑site point of contact at a client office in Qatar, responsible for delivering safe, compliant and uninterrupted facilities operations. Reporting to the regional facilities team, you will oversee both planned preventive maintenance and reactive repairs across all building services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the client’s Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule, dispatching and closing tasks in the CAFM/CMMS platform (REALM) to maintain full visibility.
• Ensure statutory and OEM compliance for MEP, HVAC, fire and life‑safety systems, and UPS/Generator equipment.
• Review service reports, track defect and snag closures, and keep an up‑to‑date site asset register.
• Supervise on‑site works, perform quality checks, sign off service dockets and guarantee the site returns to operational standards.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, conduct vendor inductions and support local vendor performance reviews.
• Maintain permits, risk assessments and incident reports; support site drills, toolbox talks and corrective‑action implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities management or an engineering environment.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, fire and life‑safety, UPS/Generators.
• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance processes.
• Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS tools, specifically REALM.
