Facility Engineer – Maintenance & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Facility Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of building systems, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment, identify maintenance and repair needs, and prepare reports for clients.
• Lead supervisors and technicians to execute scheduled work and preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and coordinate routine repairs, upgrades, and emergency responses.
• Prepare materials and documentation for maintenance activities, including job plans, checklists, and tool requirements.
• Manage CAFM system data for condition monitoring, PPM scheduling, and work order tracking.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, O&M procedures, and industry standards such as IEEE and ASHRAE.
• Review and interpret technical drawings (CAD, SLD, riser diagrams) to support maintenance planning.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements in facility operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors on facility‑related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in facility management or a similar role.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, chilled water) and relevant standards.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient with computer applications used in facility management.
