Cost Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Cost Manager to join its Real Estate team in Qatar. You will work on a variety of large‑scale projects, including data centres and commercial office buildings, delivering accurate cost information that underpins successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide precise measurement for building and MEP works, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Use market price knowledge to produce competitive, commercially sound cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities that form the basis for project execution.
• Manage post‑contract cost variances, lead change‑control processes and process interim applications.
• Maintain ownership of all deliverables, upholding Turner & Townsend’s high standards of accuracy.
• Collaborate with commission leads to deliver timely, accurate reports.
• Interface with clients, contractors and consultants as a trusted advisor.
• Show ambition and initiative to progress to higher responsibility levels and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cost management for building and MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of market pricing and commercial estimating.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Effective communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
