Facility Manager – Commercial Property

About the role

Our client, a leading organisation in Qatar, is looking for an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of a prestigious commercial property. You will ensure the delivery of integrated facilities management services, uphold high operational standards, and lead multidisciplinary teams to create a safe, compliant, and customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day facilities management operations for a large commercial property.
• Manage hard and soft FM services, ensuring maintenance activities meet contractual KPIs and SLAs.
• Oversee MEP systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety systems, BMS, and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Develop and manage internal teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Monitor operational performance, budgets, asset lifecycle, and maintenance schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and asset performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Facilities Management, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing facilities within large shopping malls or premium retail developments.
• Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and outsourced service providers.

Required skills

• MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire & life safety).
• Building Management System (BMS) operation.
• Preventive maintenance programme design and execution.
• Computer‑Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems.
• Asset lifecycle and budget management.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.
