Field Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Field Operator to support plant operations at our water treatment facility in Doha. The role involves monitoring equipment, ensuring water quality, and maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor local operating parameters and equipment status, including pumps, valves, filters, membranes, and chemical dosing systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform plant start‑up, shutdown, and equipment changeovers following procedures.
• Record operational data, readings, and events in log sheets and shift reports.
• Identify abnormalities, leaks, vibrations, or equipment malfunctions and report them promptly.
• Assist maintenance teams during planned and corrective maintenance, performing basic tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
• Collect water samples, monitor RO membranes and pretreatment systems, and ensure production and quality targets are met.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process, or Water Treatment Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in RO desalination plants (≥50 MLD), water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, or related process industries (chemical, power, utilities).
