Field Operator – Plant Operations & Maintenance

About the role

Qureos Inc is seeking a dedicated Field Operator to join its plant operations team in Doha. You will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting water treatment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor local operating parameters and equipment status.
• Conduct routine inspections of pumps, valves, filters, membranes, chemical dosing systems and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform plant start‑up, shutdown and equipment changeovers following standard procedures.
• Record operational data, readings and events in log sheets and shift reports.
• Identify abnormalities, leaks, vibrations or malfunctions and report them promptly.
• Assist maintenance teams during planned and corrective maintenance activities.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication and minor repairs.
• Collect water samples, support laboratory testing and monitor RO membranes, pretreatment and chemical dosing systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures, use appropriate PPE and maintain good housekeeping.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Process or Water‑Treatment Engineering.
• 3–4 years of experience in RO desalination plants (≥50 MLD), water‑treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants or related process industries.
