Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Cabin Maintenance

About the role

The Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Cabin Maintenance will lead and execute cabin‑related maintenance activities to support Qatar Airways flight operations. Working within the MRO environment, you will ensure that all tasks meet safety, quality and regulatory standards while contributing to on‑time dispatch reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out assigned cabin maintenance tasks efficiently, following Qatar Airways procedures.
• Review work procedures, propose improvements, and ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
• Release completed work, guaranteeing that all work meets dispatch reliability and acceptable defect levels.
• Provide technical solutions to problems within your authority and maintain aircraft serviceability schedules.
• Guide, mentor and train technicians and mechanics reporting to you.
• Supervise work of others, ensuring workmanship quality and correct tool usage.
• Perform additional department duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering or a related vocational qualification.
• Minimum one full Qatar Airways main‑fleet ICAO/QCAA license and approvals.
• At least 3 years of certifying experience as an EN.00 aircraft engineer.
• Ability to arrange and operate required equipment, including a heavy‑vehicle driving licence.
