Front Desk Agent

About the role

We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to deliver professional, customer‑focused service at our luxury Doha hotel. As the first point of contact, you will create memorable experiences for guests from arrival through departure, embodying the InterContinental brand values.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Greet guests by name when known and escort them to their rooms.
• Conduct hotel and room familiarisation, assisting with activity enquiries and requests.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel information, local services, promotions, events, and attractions.
• Monitor daily rate levels and occupancy to support revenue goals.
• Administer front‑desk cashiering standards and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Process accounts from check‑in to check‑out, accurately posting incidental charges using the computerized Front Office system.
• Protect guest privacy by safeguarding personal details.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
