About the role
The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing guest check‑ins, managing billing, and ensuring a seamless front desk experience. This role supports both guests and the front office team while maintaining high standards of service and security.
Key responsibilities
- Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, assign rooms, issue keys and handle payments.
- Maintain accurate guest accounts, enter Marriott Rewards information and ensure correct rate application.
- Compile daily reports, complete cashier and closing procedures, and secure cash handling.
- Assist guests with directions, property information and special requests, coordinating with other departments as needed.
- Support management in training, evaluating, counseling and motivating front office staff.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related front office experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Ability to stand, walk and lift objects up to 10 lb.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer and POS systems.
- Basic accounting and cash handling procedures.
