About the role
The Steward supports essential hotel functions across multiple departments, ensuring clean linen, spotless dining ware, and well‑maintained equipment for guests. This role is vital to maintaining high standards of hygiene and service throughout the property.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare fresh, clean linen and dining ware for guest use.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand‑wash stations, and laundry machines.
- Transport dishware and linens across the hotel as needed.
- Follow safety procedures, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and uphold quality standards.
- Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, and carrying objects up to 50 lb, and standing or walking for extended periods.
Required profile
- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Related work experience: None required.
- Supervisory experience: None required.
- License or certification: None required.
