About the role

The Government Sales Manager will drive hotel revenue by targeting government and corporate accounts, leveraging market insights and a strong network in the region. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential to build relationships and secure repeat business.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads.
  • Develop and nurture customer accounts within the government and corporate sectors to increase market share across all revenue streams.
  • Negotiate room rates and packages with corporate clients.
  • Create and execute creative local marketing initiatives, including social‑media campaigns.
  • Prepare and manage contracts in line with current pricing and business conditions.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Attend sales events and represent the hotel as required.
  • Produce accurate reports on appointments, calls, and leads for senior management.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the sales team, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required profile

  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to high‑level customer service and professional grooming standards.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varied work situations and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of closing deals.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of the local market and hospitality industry.
  • Passion for achieving sales targets.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
