GRP Technician

About the role

The GRP Technician is responsible for preparing and applying fiberglass (GRP) materials on site, ensuring all work meets production specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. This position supports oil & gas operations by handling GRP components and adhering to permit‑to‑work procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and apply GRP materials according to detailed production specifications.
• Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards throughout all tasks.
• Perform site measurements and follow Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
• Handle, store, and maintain GRP materials with technical care.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure proper integration of GRP components.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Understanding of oil & gas piping materials.
• Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.

Required skills

• Fiberglass (GRP) material preparation and application.
• Technical drawing interpretation.
• Measurement and marking for mechanical and electrical requirements.
• Knowledge of oil & gas piping materials.

What we offer

• Basic salary of QAR 1,500 plus food and other allowances totaling QAR 2,000 per month.
