Head of Process Engineering

About the role

The Head of Process Engineering will provide critical process support to MP projects, ensuring consistency across start‑up philosophies, smooth hand‑overs to operations, and robust production performance testing. This senior position leads feasibility studies, defines scopes, and evaluates engineering contractors to meet project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead standalone feasibility studies on flow assurance and process design.
• Define scope of work, select and evaluate engineering firms and contractors.
• Manage the Process Engineering team to deliver studies on time and within schedule.
• Maintain constructive relationships with PMTs, contractors, Operations, and SHEQ stakeholders.
• Oversee transition from project management team to operations, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements.
• Supervise production performance testing and ensure alignment with shareholder expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of process engineering experience, including 6 years in Oil & Gas.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or contractor‑oversight role.
• Broad knowledge of engineering execution, design standards, codes, and safety criteria for onshore LNG facilities.
• Experience with major LNG projects is preferred.
