About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to join our front‑of‑house team at a luxury hotel in Doha. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and manage the waiting list.
• Seat guests at clean, available tables, pull out chairs, and present menus.
• Guide guests through the dining area and assist with any special seating needs.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings; ensure each place setting includes a napkin, clean silverware, and required items.
• Check menus for cleanliness and currentness.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette and provide professional assistance.
• Support team members to achieve common goals and uphold quality standards.
• Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 10 lb without assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lb.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to follow safety procedures.
