Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, ensuring guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the brand’s high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation. The role requires coordinating staff, liaising with the Front Office and monitoring guest requests to deliver a seamless hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Housekeeping Attendants and other assigned colleagues.
• Allocate work assignments and ensure adequate staffing coverage according to occupancy and operational needs.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas and back‑of‑house zones to verify cleanliness, presentation and maintenance standards.
• Ensure rooms are cleaned, serviced and released in line with hotel procedures.
• Follow up on room status and coordinate closely with the Front Office regarding readiness, priorities and special requests.
• Monitor and resolve guest requests, complaints and special arrangements promptly.
• Enforce SOPs, hygiene standards, safety procedures and hotel policies among all housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections, provide constructive feedback and coach team members.
• Report maintenance defects and engineering issues and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
