Humanities Instructor – General Studies

About the role

The Humanities Instructor joins the General Studies department of Qatar Technical Institute (QTI) to deliver the first‑year humanities curriculum to military students. Working under Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) standards, the instructor will create an inclusive learning environment that supports student success while maintaining academic rigor.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons on Qatar History, Human Rights, and Islamic Culture in line with the MoEHE curriculum.
• Support the creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of humanities course materials.
• Maintain accurate student records and assessment data.
• Participate in regular feedback meetings with senior instructors to enhance teaching quality.
• Collaborate with colleagues and military stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to design student‑centred lessons and foster critical thinking.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to professional development.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, student needs, and organisational requirements.
• Experience working in an educational setting, preferably with military or vocational students.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Qatar History, Human Rights, and Islamic Culture.
• Familiarity with MoEHE curriculum guidelines.
