Incident Response Oversight Expert

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to oversee and guide major cyber incident response efforts across the enterprise. The role focuses on strategic oversight, coordination of response teams, and strengthening overall cyber resilience, rather than hands‑on SOC analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise large‑scale cyber incident response and CSIRT engagements.
• Provide quality assurance and oversight for incident response analysts.
• Coordinate major incident containment, recovery, and post‑incident remediation.
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks, governance frameworks, and crisis management procedures.
• Design and facilitate tabletop exercises, workshops, and cyber drills.
• Conduct post‑incident reviews and ensure remediation actions are tracked.
• Manage cyber crisis communication and stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in cybersecurity incident response and leadership.
• Proven track record of personally leading significant cyber incidents.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least two relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GCTI, GX‑IH, GSLC, ISO 27035 Lead Incident Manager).
• Strong project and program management capabilities.
