Internal Auditor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to strengthen our Finance Department’s internal controls, governance and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in assessing risk management processes, improving operational efficiency and safeguarding the organization’s financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments in line with the annual audit plan and company policies.
• Review financial records, operational processes and internal controls to verify accuracy, compliance and effectiveness.
• Identify risks, control weaknesses and improvement opportunities, and provide practical recommendations.
• Prepare clear audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal policies across all departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing or a similar financial control role.
• Professional certification such as CIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of audit procedures, risk assessment and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and communication skills with attention to detail.
