Junior Facilities Engineer – Mechanical (GCC experience required)

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Facilities Engineer – Mechanical to join our shopping mall and accommodation management team in Qatar. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing mechanical building systems across residential and retail environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical building systems including MEP, HVAC, fire alarm and BMS.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Utilize CAFM/CMMS software to track work orders and asset performance.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless facility operations.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer (Mechanical) in a FM, mall or consultancy setting.
• Current Qatar residency with a valid Qatar ID and NOC.
• Demonstrated experience in the GCC market, preferably Qatar.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Flexibility to work extra hours when required.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering knowledge of MEP, HVAC, fire alarm and BMS.
• Familiarity with CAFM/CMMS software.
• Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• AutoCAD.

What we offer

• Salary between 4,000 – 4,500 QAR per month, based on interview performance.
