Lady in Red – Guest Relations & Butler

About the role

The Lady in Red is the face of Kempinski Doha, acting as the Hotel Ambassador and primary point of contact for all guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will welcome, assist, and bid farewell to guests while ensuring the highest standards of service and immediate decision‑making for guest wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate hotel philosophy and represent the brand internally and externally.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the hotel, city layout, VIP guests, and special events.
• Gather and distribute VIP feedback via daily fact sheets, newsletters, and guest profiles.
• Welcome, escort, and farewell top VIPs, coordinating personalized itineraries with the Front Office Manager and GM.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests efficiently, logging all interactions.
• Walk the property to recognize and engage guests, and participate in daily briefings.
• Report hazards promptly and take decisions on upgrades, comps, or rebates per hotel policy.
• Undertake special projects and additional tasks as required.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of local attractions and ability to provide accurate information to guests.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of making swift decisions in guest‑centric situations.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and coordinate cross‑departmental efforts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS for guest profile management and reporting.
