Laundry Attendant

About the role

Join the housekeeping team at a prestigious hotel in The Pearl Island, Doha, and ensure guests enjoy fresh, clean linens every day. As a Laundry Attendant you will operate and monitor all laundry equipment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machines, add chemicals and clean lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide whether to rewash, treat, repair or discard.
• Inspect cleaned articles, place them in linen carts and fold them to the required size, manually or with a folding machine.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric type and remove lint, debris and filter residues after each load.
• Maintain accurate records of all items processed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report incidents and complete required training.
• Support team goals, uphold a professional appearance and protect company assets.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or prior laundry experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lb.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
