About the role
The Laundry Attendant will operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning and drying equipment at The St. Regis Residence in Doha. The role involves handling chemicals, maintaining equipment, and ensuring all linen and garments are returned clean and properly folded.
Key responsibilities
- Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machinery, add chemicals, and clean lint traps after each load.
- Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, rewash, spot‑treatment or discard.
- Inspect cleaned articles for quality, fold them to designated sizes, and place them in clean linen carts.
- Maintain accurate records of all items laundered and follow safety and security policies.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, remove lint and debris, and ensure proper dryer settings based on fabric type.
Required profile
- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- Related work experience: No prior experience required.
- Supervisory experience: None required.
- License or certification: None required.
