Lead Flight Planning Agent

About the role

The Lead Flight Planning Agent is responsible for planning, monitoring and optimizing cargo flight positions to achieve full utilization and compliance with the Flight Booking List (FBL). The role ensures timely release of manifests, UWS and NOTOCs to load control while coordinating closely with warehouse build‑up teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan allocated flights according to FBL handling priorities, special load requirements and set KPIs.
• Determine available flight capacity and optimise cargo load using the best ULD combinations.
• Provide preliminary cargo tonnage to load control and keep estimates close to actual tonnage.
• Communicate proactively with build‑up teams, customer airlines and RM to fill under‑optimised flights.
• Perform mandatory checks: gross weight, NOTOC preparation, security regulations, country restrictions, aircraft limitations and special load segregation.
• Maintain 100% data accuracy throughout flight planning and update CROAMIS with irregularities and operational remarks.
• Release manifests, UWS and NOTOCs within agreed timeframes and ensure all required documentation is retained.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cargo flight planning or airport operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CROAMIS system.
• Familiarity with UWS and NOTOC preparation.
• Understanding of Flight Booking List (FBL) processes.
• Experience with Unit Load Device (ULD) optimisation.
