Lead Mechanical Engineer – Data Centers

About the role

The Lead Mechanical Engineer will head the design, implementation and validation of mechanical systems for mission‑critical data centre facilities in Doha. You will ensure that cooling and HVAC solutions meet performance, reliability and energy‑efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design reviews for HVAC, chilled water, CRAC/CRAH units, cooling towers and liquid‑cooling loops.
• Optimize Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) and overall energy consumption.
• Support equipment selection, procurement and vendor coordination.
• Plan and supervise testing, commissioning and performance validation activities.
• Guarantee compliance with international standards and client specifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in HVAC and critical‑cooling systems.
• Proven experience in data centre or other mission‑critical environments.
