Lead Project Manager

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to drive the planning, delivery and operational transition of large‑scale, technically complex projects. The role will oversee end‑to‑end project lifecycles from business case development through execution, ORAT and ongoing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex project initiatives from concept and business case through to operational handover and continuous operations.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans and reporting frameworks.
• Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders across diverse interfaces.
• Lead governance meetings, steering committees and executive reporting.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency and recovery plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, mentor project managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Oversee ORAT planning and readiness activities to ensure seamless operational transition.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Professional project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI Construction Professional or equivalent).
• 10‑15 years of project management experience, including delivery of complex projects valued at USD 50M‑100M+.
• Proven track record of delivering at least two full end‑to‑end project lifecycles from business case through ORAT.
• Extensive experience managing multiple stakeholders, interfaces and cross‑functional teams.
