Legal Counsel

About the role

The Legal Counsel will provide comprehensive legal support to the organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safeguarding the company’s interests across a range of business activities. This role requires fluency in English and Arabic and a strong ability to manage complex legal matters in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to mitigate risk.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and employment law.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes, coordinating with external counsel.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and other strategic transactions.
• Prepare board and shareholder meeting materials and maintain corporate records.
• Monitor and enforce internal policies, SOPs, and compliance programs.
• Stay updated on legal developments and advise senior management on potential impacts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the IT sector.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver results.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
