Legal Coordinator - Compliance

About the role

The Legal Coordinator – Compliance supports Qatar Airways’ Group Legal & Compliance Division by coordinating legal, regulatory and administrative activities. The role ensures the airline meets aviation and corporate law requirements, prepares for audits, and maintains ongoing compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and file compliance cases, reports, manuals, policies and procedures.
• Track regulatory deadlines, audit schedules and corrective action plans.
• Liaise with internal departments such as Flight Operations, Safety, Engineering, Ground Operations, Security, Quality, Finance and HR on compliance matters.
• Maintain the Compliance Management System, ensuring accuracy and completion of end‑to‑end processes.
• Coordinate correspondence and submissions with aviation regulators and other stakeholders.
• Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory inspections and investigations.
• Manage document control, versioning and record retention in line with regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular reports to Group Compliance senior management and maintain strict confidentiality of all information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Aviation Law or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
• Willingness to continuously develop personal expertise and stay updated on market trends.
