LOTO Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced LOTO Supervisor to lead lockout/tagout and energy isolation activities on a major industrial project in Doha, Qatar. The role ensures that all hazardous energy sources are safely isolated before work starts, coordinating with multiple engineering and safety teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) activities on site.
• Verify proper isolation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other hazardous energy sources.
• Review and implement approved LOTO procedures, isolation plans and energy control requirements.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Operations, HSE and Commissioning teams to ensure safe isolation.
• Conduct LOTO briefings, toolbox talks and training for personnel.
• Maintain accurate LOTO registers, isolation certificates and lock/tag records.
• Ensure compliance with Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) requirements and Qatar safety regulations.
• Monitor field activities, stop unsafe work and report violations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a LOTO Supervisor on industrial or infrastructure projects.
