About the role
Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time Machinist in Doha within its fertilizer sector. The role covers setting up, operating and maintaining machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders and CNC machines, and producing parts to precise tolerances.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders and CNC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and GD&T specifications.
- Select cutting tools, materials and machine settings (speeds and feeds).
- Measure and mark raw materials, then machine parts to precise dimensions and surface finish.
- Inspect finished parts with micrometers, calipers and gauges and monitor machine operations for quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and follow all safety procedures.
- Document production data and report deviations from specifications.
