Manager, Quality & Risk Management – MENA

About the role

EY is seeking a Manager for its Quality & Risk Management team covering the MENA region (Qatar and Saudi Arabia). The role will support client teams by providing high-quality advice, ensuring compliance and managing risk across tax engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate advice on procedural, policy, quality, compliance and risk-management matters to client teams.
• Review client and engagement acceptance assessments and collaborate with service teams to secure approvals.
• Conduct periodic policy and guidance reviews, producing clear guidance on identified concerns.
• Create and develop processes and protocols governing quality and risk-management activities.
• Design and deliver training programmes to business units on quality and risk topics.
• Perform contract reviews from a risk identification perspective and support related negotiations.
• Lead and manage short- and long-term projects, ensuring delivery of quality and risk objectives.
• Support change-management initiatives and guide stakeholders through significant changes.
• Identify and implement efficiencies in quality and risk-management processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a managerial role within quality, risk or compliance functions, preferably in tax or professional services.
• Strong understanding of tax engagement processes and regulatory requirements in the MENA region.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including General Counsel, Risk Management and Global Tax Quality.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex guidance and deliver training.
