Mechanical Engineer – Offshore (Qatar)

About the role

ISS International SpA is seeking four senior Mechanical Engineers for an offshore oil & gas compression project in Qatar. The engineers will support execution and commissioning phases on compression platforms, ensuring mechanical integrity and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist commissioning engineers and site teams with mechanical engineering activities.
• Perform equipment checks, technical verification, and preparation for offshore works.
• Execute follow‑up, troubleshooting, and coordination of mechanical tasks on offshore platforms.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety requirements, and technical documentation.

Required profile

• Senior professional with solid offshore mechanical background.
• Experience on rotating equipment, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and gas turbine generators.
• Previous involvement in oil & gas offshore projects and commissioning support.
• Valid BOSIET or T‑BOSIET certification is a strong advantage.

• 6‑month fixed‑term contract, extendable.
• Rotation schedule: 56 days on‑site, 28 days off‑site.
