Mechanical Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to lead offshore mechanical works for major platform and subsea projects in Qatar. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning and debottlenecking activities across multiple international sites while ensuring compliance with client specifications and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of wellheads, platform equipment packages, vessels, separators, pig launchers, solid treatment and chemical injection systems.
• Coordinate complex interfaces with client entities and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage on‑site execution of offshore platform bridges, subsea pipelines and produced water treatment upgrades.
• Ensure adherence to applicable codes and standards (API, ISO, ASTM, NACE, SSPC).
• Monitor progress, quality and safety performance, reporting to project management.

Required profile

• Associate degree or HND/BTS level (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in offshore construction projects.
• Construction yard experience on installation of platform equipment.
• Strong supervision and communication skills in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent English; H2S OPITO and T‑BOSIET certifications.
