MWR Specialist – Recreational Services Operations

About the role

The MWR Specialist supports daily operations of morale, welfare and recreation facilities for a government contractor. Working across multiple functional areas—including housekeeping, community activity centers, linen exchange, fitness centers, lounge operations, and media centers—the role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and serve alcoholic beverages where permitted.
• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and inventory management for all assigned facilities.
• Support fitness center front‑desk operations, including member check‑in and equipment assistance.
• Coordinate event planning, setup, and breakdown in accordance with the Performance Work Statement.
• Manage linen exchange processes and ensure timely delivery and collection.
• Maintain a sanitary, clutter‑free environment and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Complete required Vectrus and government training courses and follow time‑reporting procedures.

Required profile

• Valid U.S. Secret or Interim Secret security clearance at the time of offer.
• U.S. driver’s license and passport.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Willingness to work indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to heat, cold, dust, noise, and chemicals.
• Flexibility for overtime and shift work as needed.
