Part‑time Licensed Nurse (Maternity Cover) – 2 days/week

About the role

Doha English Speaking School is seeking a part‑time licensed nurse to cover maternity leave. The role runs from 30 August to 17 December 2026, working Sundays and Mondays from 7:10 am to 2:15 pm (two full days per week). You will join a dynamic, internationally‑focused preparatory school and support the health and wellbeing of its diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid, routine health checks and emergency response for students and staff.
• Administer medication and maintain accurate health records.
• Promote health‑education initiatives and liaise with parents and health authorities.
• Ensure compliance with school safeguarding policies and health regulations.

Required profile

• Licensed nurse authorised by the Ministry of Public Health (MPH) in Qatar.
• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Degree and transcripts attested by a notary public, the Qatari Embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced safeguarding checks, provide an International Child Protection Certificate (or equivalent), police clearance, birth certificate and any name‑change documentation.
• Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is highly desirable.
